Marbella, Spain-Tips for you

Those who know me know i looooove travelling, so i"ve decided for every trip i make i'll share so you can decide if you will visit or not...I'll be writing about the others but the one for this month is Marbella (Beautiful Ocean)

Marbella is a city and resort area on southern Spain’s Costa del Sol, part of the Andalusia region.We stayed there for just 4days and I will try as much as I can to break it all down for you....Enjoy!!

Day 1

We had a very early flight, so we got to Marbella at about 10am-Don't waste your money jumping on any of those airport taxi offers as there is a Bus stop right infront of the airport once you exit, all you have to do is get a ticket from the ticket stand which cost between 7-8euros depending on the time of your bus... It takes about an hour to get to marbella bus station

As soon as we got to the bus station we took a taxi to our hotel... We were happy with what we saw...though we had to wait a bit for them to sort our room out, but it was worth the wait ( 20 minutes or so...)

We took a nap for about 4hrs, got up, freshened up and headed to calle medio in Marquez del Duero, ... We went to the  best restaurant in San Pedro de Alcantara: Restaurante Alcantara( Highly Recommended)

...for starter we had gambas pil pil, aguacate con langostinos and piña tropical then our main was spaghetti vongole (spaghetti with clams and prawns, cooked in white wine and chopped garlic) and lubina con verduras (sea bass with vegetables)... We ended with a delicious dessert called "Dama blanca aka white lady" basically icecream, cream and chocolate with a twist.

We relaxed till about midnight chatting and chilling then took a taxi to our hotel for about €8....boy were we glad to walk into a cool room cos we left one of our keys in the slot so the ac can be left on while we are out... You do know when u take it out everything goes off including the fridge.. So for those of you that don't already know... Always ask for a second key and leave one permanently in that slot if you want to walk into a cool room and cool drinks ln your fridge :) That was it for day 1

Day 2.

Woke up at about 9am, had breakfast which was very lovely..they had alot of variety and i was pleased... Breakfast was served between7.30-10.30am

Went back to the room... We got ready, took a stroll round our hotel appreciating it's beauty... However, we were disappointed that we had to pay for iron..lol...we let that slide and went on to capture a few moments

Relaxed, chatted and chilled till  about 4pm then we started our day.. Got a taxi to puerto banus ... Went to Zara in Marina Banús...they had some irresistible deals... Trust me to lay my hands on what looks like a good deal for my loyal customers...

After shopping we went to Terra Sana for wraps and got a nice chicken avocado wrap... It was yummmy and cost about €10

Then we walked around puerto banus appreciating the beauty of the town... We just saw cars and cars and cars everywhere... From ferraris to bentleys to Lamborghinis to some i haven't even seen or heard of before and they had all the designer shops by the port... It was beautiful... All sorts of yachts... Different shapes and sizes available for rent too

We did what we knew best... Photos photos till we got hungry.. went to have lunch ...we asked for pizza and the portion sent me straight to sleep... Lol..

we were so tired we couldn't even do our boat cruise anymore so we walked back to our hotel for the food to digest..Chilled for a bit... Went to the pool , enjoyed some inhouse flamenco entertainment and some quiet relaxing time...

walked out for cocktAils to this really nice place called Astral.. 

They indeed had nice cocktails... Although we found it weird that a clown was trying to sell roses and he won't allow us take a photo of/with him... I wonder why!!!

After our cocktails and plenty of chatting we took a taxi back to our base and slept... Mind you it was about midnight and clothe stores and shops were still open! They don't sleep in Marbella!!

Day 3:

Woke up early and had breakfast again :) chilled by the pool and relaxxxed

After chilling, we changed and got ready for the day and headed to the port... Of course we took pictures on our way...

then we headed off to the port and got a boat from Puerto Banus to marbella centre... We had lunch and had some tapas.. Then chilled at gran melia for a bit before taking the local bus to puerto banus... Spain is so beautiful and we had an opportunity to see the history as it was frequented in the 80s by the creme de la creme.. We got to PB in less than 20mins walked around... Wennt to the mall, had a wrap again lol and went to restaurante alcantara.. We had beef entrecôte in pepper sauce with mushroom and vegetables, at this point we were literally "belly full" then we had to try the best ice cream in san pedro of course!  Had some ice cream then we headed back to the hotel...

Day 4 

We got up, had breakfast, got a taxi to marbella bus station which cost just about €12 and took about 10 minutes and waited for the airport bus to take us straight to the airprot for 8.45am... We were favoured because the bus was almost full and if we didnt get that 8.45 we would have definitely missed our flight or had to spend more than 10 times the amount to take a taxi straight to the airport... We departed at exactly 8.48am and arrived at 9.24am

We had someone on our flight who had a very severe nut allergy, so the crew informed everyone of us not to eat anything that has nut on the flight at all... Wow! I thank God for my life o.... Anyway that was it....

Tips

1. Remember to carry along an Adaptor as the socket is different
2. Get your sunscreen whether you are black or not.lol
3. When picking a hotel don't pay for all inclusive if you want to explore cos u'll spend most of ur time out of the hotel...breakfast is ok as that's the most important meal (so they say.lol) :)
4. Try tapas & Mediterranean cuisine at restaurante Alcantara ( best restaurant) See their tripadvisor page for mouth watering spanish food and more!
5. Take a boat ride to marbella centre and enjoy the view
6. Don't take a taxi directly from/to the airport (extortion)
7. When shopping and using your card, always choose to pay in the countries currency...you get better value that way

Happy new month lovely people. What a privilege to be counted amongst the living with all the craziness that’s going on in the world. God definitely has great plans for you and you  must discover and accomplish them before your time is up. Death and a series of other things made me take action in 2010 to start my now business and since then I have not turned back. It has been a journey of successes, failures, disappointments, tears, laughter, new relationships, breakups and so much more but in all God has always been there, picking me up when I fall, strengthening me when I am weak and delivering me when I am afflicted.  I remember when I first started and I sent a box of shoes down to Lagos, my helper at the time helped me store the shoes at her house in IKOYI and I was trading from there through my blackberry, I still remember the first item I sold and sent an invoice for, it was these lovely black LANTAGEN 94 heels from aldo and i made such a lovely profit from it because they were so beautiful and I got a good deal for them…afterwards my other  helper  FUNSO, the  person who first helped me manage my business  took over from there…she was so helpful and I appreciate her till this day as she helped with my  first official customers at her hostel in IDIARABA, may God continue to bless her and all those that have managed my business for me till date. God was just blessing me and opening doors for me ..i remember when we were contacted by Guarantee Trust Assurance(GTA) and we ordered books for their staff and that pay was very encouraging and we strived to do better, our customer base kept expanding by the day and God equipped us…we had customers all over Nigeria, some in remote areas with no popular banks, so we had to open bank accounts to cater to them as online bankng wasn’t so popular then, we opened so many..lol..we almost even opened ECO  bank but never got the chance to complete the form.lol..we visited so many countries too just so we could offer more and better for our customers….one country we always wanted to visit due to some customers request was TURKEY and if not for the bad news we just heard recently we were actually going to visit this year but God knows best. We have been so privileged to be at places where we have met with dignitaries like the QUEEN OF ENGLAND  and offered services for her..we have also met so many other celebrities even if we haven’t worked with them  but just being there and knowing the influence they have, has just been a blessing in itself and has been very encouraging .I officially registered Mias’boutique in 2011 and had BISOLA as my first personal assistant on my payroll, I remember when we took a flight to Abuja together for business and she told me how that was her first time ever boarding a plane and how she was so grateful to me for giving her such an opportunity.. I felt so honoured to have experienced that with her and be a part of her story…as I remember the fear on her face now when we took off, its still funny….she had a good time and I thank her for her dedication during the time she worked with me. I still remember how helpful and friendly Juwa was(may his soul continue to rest in peace) my heart still hurts when I remember his death and I pray God continues to keep his lovely wife strong and give her the strength to move on....Long live Juwa and the mobile market for you will always be a part of my success story…we made outstanding sales that day and since then we always supported them whenever they have a tradefair..from there we graduated to going to other states for tradefairs and even organized our personal tradefair for the first time in ABUJA. Since then we have organized in Anambra and Benin and look forward to organizing more..we always wanted to visit CALABAR but never got the chance to but we definitely will very soon by Gods grace.

We have divided our services into 4 categories: Online boutique, personal shopping&services( which have included all sorts from helping buy clothes, shoes, pay for INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS, HOTEL RESERVATION, INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL FEES and MEDICAL BILLS), logistics/procurement and Forex(We pay your client or preferred bank account WITHIN 12HOURS and we always over deliver, we expanded recently and now offer a DOLLAR to NAIRA AND VICE VERSA service ). Lord help me to let go of the past. I want to make room for the new things You are doing in my life. Help me to forgive myself    For times i have failed You. Show me the good You have brought out of those times or will bring out of them in the future. Thank You that You have made a way out of the wilderness of my past. I will overcome.

Emotional wounds will destroy you!!!!

Hmmm! My life. What a beautiful life i have...so beautiful that it makes the devil so jealous and he is bent on destroying it. But guess what? I have a good good Father. He chose me.... He first chose me when i was a teenager and since then i have known no peace...I have had all sorts of attacks in my life...physical, mental,emotional,health,financial you name it from all sorts of angles but still I stand. I thought i was ok, i thought i was fine only for God to show me things about me i never even knew existed and even when He showed me i didn't accept them... I blamed one person or situation or the other but i am sick of being held and enough is enough...I have to be set free tonight. I am sharing this because I feel led to and i know someone will be blessed by this. 

We have experiences in life that leave us broken without us knowing,till life throws situations at us and we respond with hurt and anger over something that is not even enough to cause such a reaction. Whenever you react with hurt and anger you lack emotional wholeness, infact you are MAD because the emotion you put towards the situation at present is emotions from the past which is not proportionate to the situation at hand and when you watch yourself out of your skin, you will agree that you are mad. So speak to God and let Him heal you from that past hurt. Psalm 147:3 is His word, so remind Him of it and declare it in Your life. Say this out loud " Father i ask that I trust in You as my healer. Build my faith to depend on You as my healer. Reveal to me that You are filled with mercy and grace. Convict me of Your willingness and ability to heal me in Jesus name. Amen!!

Sometimes we blame God for giving us emotions but it is wrong. God did not promise us a life without wounds, He just promised that He will be there with us and heal us whenever we are broken...if your emotions have been wounded or torn apart guess what? You will have sinful and negative emotions cultivated into your life from that emotional wound... So it is important you plead for God to release His power in your life so you can experience emotional health and wholeness. Genesis 1:27 says that God created us in His image, if the image you portray does not look like God then you need healing... Ask Him. Don't accept that to be you- God forbid that cannot be you because that Cannot be God... Do something about it... Pray and fast it out and don't stop till you see it gone.

Ask God, call a few prayer warriors to agree with you. Ask God to bind satan and his demons from your life. Speak to them and tell them to seize from harassing and oppressing you... Nooo it is not ok to be that way... It is not ok to scream and shout and hit and insult because of your lack of emotional strength... That is not of God! 

Do not neglect or suppress hurt or pain. They will come back in fact stronger and monstrous...face them.. Face them head on and seek for God's healing and move on by His grace and power and declare that past hurt will no longer hurt, hinder or destroy your present and future . Hebrews 13:5-6 has said it thAt God is your helper and man can do you nothing so forgive and truly forget... Don't allow man cause you to sin... Root out that negative emotion and cast it out,replace them with the fruit of God.

Emotional hurts can produce bad bad behaviour... Lord! Baaaad behaviour that stinks and oozes and these behaviors can hinder and destroy relationships, take hold today and cast them out and ask God to deal with any sinful attitudes or behaviors in your life that would hinder your relationships.Plead that God will grant you healthy and Godly relationships... Relationships thAt hang on love... Matthew 22:39 says we should love our neighbours as ourselves so before you act negatively to anyone ask if you will act towards yourself like that...

Victim mentality... Rebuke it... Pray that God will enable you to confess and repent of any sinful responses to your emotional wounds. Pray that you wont see yourself as a victim but a victor and most importantly take responsibility for your actions and dont blame anyone for acting the way you did... It was all you and you and you...confess your sins to Him And He will be just to forgive you from all unrighteousness. Confess them... Do not be ashamed for proverbs 28: 13 tells us that if we cover our sins we will not prosper but God will have mercy on you if you confess and forsake them. I hope this helps anyone that has been emotionally wounded. 

This is my prayer 

Father! You are the healer of the broken hearted. You declare in your word that You bind up wounds...Release Your healing power into my life. Be gracious to me. Cause me to sense and know Your love as never before in my life. Open my eyes to those wounds that have me bound and hurting. Remove the pain from my life, fill my wounds with your mercy. Set me free from unforgiveness, deliver me from harboring unforgiveness. Remove anger and hatred from my life, replace it with Your love. Remove depression and despair from my life, replace it with joy. Remove fear and anxiety from my life and replace it with peace. Remove resentment and temper from my life, replace it with longsuffering. Remove bitterness and a critical spirit from my life, replace it with kindness. Remove selfishness from my life and replace it with goodness. Fill me with Your love...let Your love overflow. Show me Your concern for me. Cause me to seek You with allllll of my heart. Manifest Your power and grace by healing and blessing me tonight...in Jesus name. Amen

Your Anger is causing damage!!!

Angry outbursts are destructive in all relationships, especially in your home. Children are the most vulnerable to parental anger, and they mirror their parents’ behaviour. We shape our children’s destiny by our words, behaviours, and attitudes, and if they’re raised in a home that’s consistently high-volume, they’ll react similarly. Your actions are training your children to be hysterical and violent. Soon everyone will be overreacting, flying into fits of rage, and attacking one another. When you exhibit tantrum-like behaviour you’re acting out of a selfish need to get what you want, when you want it, in the way you think you ought to have it. Please - for your family’s sake - start acting like an adult; exhibit self-control. ‘Imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises’ (Hebrews 6:12 NKJV). Notice, you must have faith and patience. You may not be able to control what happens in life, but you can certainly control your reaction. Whether it’s the anger a father brings home from the workplace, or a wife’s anger towards her husband, it can bring a curse. Simeon and Levi harboured anger in their hearts and became vicious and vindictive murderers. Because of this, a curse came upon them, and the anger was passed down from generation to generation (see Genesis 49). You must break the curse by resisting the temptation to let anger dictate your behaviour. In the words of James: ‘My dear brothers, take note … Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires’ (James 1:19-20)
