Lord help me to let go of the past. I want to make room for the new things You are doing in my life. Help me to forgive myself For times i have failed You. Show me the good You have brought out of those times or will bring out of them in the future. Thank You that You have made a way out of the wilderness of my past. I will overcome.

Isaiah 43: 18-19
That's my scripture for today. It says we should not remember the former things nor consider the things of old. For He will do a new thing.....
Emotional wounds will destroy you!!!!
Hmmm! My life. What a beautiful life i have...so beautiful that it makes the devil so jealous and he is bent on destroying it. But guess what? I have a good good Father. He chose me.... He first chose me when i was a teenager and since then i have known no peace...I have had all sorts of attacks in my life...physical, mental, emotional, health, financial you name it from all sorts of angles but still I stand. I thought i was ok, i thought i was fine only for God to show me things about me i never even knew existed and even when He showed me i didn't accept them... I blamed one person or situation or the other but i am sick of being held and enough is enough...I have to be set free tonight. I am sharing this because I feel led to and i know someone will be blessed by this.
We have experiences in life that leave us broken without us knowing, till life throws situations at us and we respond with hurt and anger over something that is not even enough to cause such a reaction. Whenever you react with hurt and anger you lack emotional wholeness, infact you are MAD because the emotion you put towards the situation at present is emotions from the past which is not proportionate to the situation at hand and when you watch yourself out of your skin, you will agree that you are mad. So speak to God and let Him heal you from that past hurt. Psalm 147:3 is His word, so remind Him of it and declare it in Your life. Say this out loud " Father i ask that I trust in You as my healer. Build my faith to depend on You as my healer. Reveal to me that You are filled with mercy and grace. Convict me of Your willingness and ability to heal me in Jesus name. Amen!!
Sometimes we blame God for giving us emotions but it is wrong. God did not promise us a life without wounds, He just promised that He will be there with us and heal us whenever we are broken...if your emotions have been wounded or torn apart guess what? You will have sinful and negative emotions cultivated into your life from that emotional wound... So it is important you plead for God to release His power in your life so you can experience emotional health and wholeness. Genesis 1:27 says that God created us in His image, if the image you portray does not look like God then you need healing... Ask Him. Don't accept that to be you- God forbid that cannot be you because that Cannot be God... Do something about it... Pray and fast it out and don't stop till you see it gone.
Ask God, call a few prayer warriors to agree with you. Ask God to bind satan and his demons from your life. Speak to them and tell them to seize from harassing and oppressing you... Nooo it is not ok to be that way... It is not ok to scream and shout and hit and insult because of your lack of emotional strength... That is not of God!
Do not neglect or suppress hurt or pain. They will come back in fact stronger and monstrous...face them.. Face them head on and seek for God's healing and move on by His grace and power and declare that past hurt will no longer hurt, hinder or destroy your present and future . Hebrews 13:5-6 has said it thAt God is your helper and man can do you nothing so forgive and truly forget... Don't allow man cause you to sin... Root out that negative emotion and cast it out, replace them with the fruit of God.
Emotional hurts can produce bad bad behaviour... Lord! Baaaad behaviour that stinks and oozes and these behaviors can hinder and destroy relationships, take hold today and cast them out and ask God to deal with any sinful attitudes or behaviors in your life that would hinder your relationships.Plead that God will grant you healthy and Godly relationships... Relationships thAt hang on love... Matthew 22:39 says we should love our neighbours as ourselves so before you act negatively to anyone ask if you will act towards yourself like that...
Victim mentality... Rebuke it... Pray that God will enable you to confess and repent of any sinful responses to your emotional wounds. Pray that you wont see yourself as a victim but a victor and most importantly take responsibility for your actions and dont blame anyone for acting the way you did... It was all you and you and you...confess your sins to Him And He will be just to forgive you from all unrighteousness. Confess them... Do not be ashamed for proverbs 28: 13 tells us that if we cover our sins we will not prosper but God will have mercy on you if you confess and forsake them. I hope this helps anyone that has been emotionally wounded.
This is my prayer

Your Anger is causing damage!!!
Angry outbursts are destructive in all relationships, especially in your home. Children are the most vulnerable to parental anger, and they mirror their parents’ behaviour. We shape our children’s destiny by our words, behaviours, and attitudes, and if they’re raised in a home that’s consistently high-volume, they’ll react similarly. Your actions are training your children to be hysterical and violent. Soon everyone will be overreacting, flying into fits of rage, and attacking one another. When you exhibit tantrum-like behaviour you’re acting out of a selfish need to get what you want, when you want it, in the way you think you ought to have it. Please - for your family’s sake - start acting like an adult; exhibit self-control. ‘Imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises’ (Hebrews 6:12 NKJV). Notice, you must have faith and patience. You may not be able to control what happens in life, but you can certainly control your reaction. Whether it’s the anger a father brings home from the workplace, or a wife’s anger towards her husband, it can bring a curse. Simeon and Levi harboured anger in their hearts and became vicious and vindictive murderers. Because of this, a curse came upon them, and the anger was passed down from generation to generation (see Genesis 49). You must break the curse by resisting the temptation to let anger dictate your behaviour. In the words of James: ‘My dear brothers, take note … Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires’ (James 1:19-20)

Words are POWERFUL!!!
Words!! Words!!! Words!!!! This tool is so powerful oh my
gosh...I can't even stress on it enough. I am so eager to post this because
this was sent directly to me by the Holy Spirit at the RIGHT time...God is so
good..He is!! He is always there, always, especially at your lowest. He said it
that He will never leave nor forsake you and He MEANT IT.
I have
always been a person of words and I remember doing the love language test twice
in the space of two years and my results were exactly the same with "words
of affirmation" topping the list, well i wasn't surprised because growing
up i have always known the effect of words-be it positive or negative and i try
to let those who come into my life along the way aware of this so they
know how to not hurt me. Well, now let us see what the bible says:
“Proverbs 12:18 There is that speaketh like the
piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health"
There are words that are cutting and killing; words, which grieve the spirits
of those to whom they are spoken, and cut them to the heart; or slanders, which
wound the reputation of those of whom they are uttered, and perhaps incurably;
or whisperings and evil surmising, which divide and cut asunder the bonds of
love and friendship, and separate those that have been very dear to each other;
but the tongue of the wise is health — His speech, both in judgement and in
common discourse, is sound and wholesome in itself, and tends to the comfort
and benefit of others, closing up those wounds which the backbiting tongue had
made, restoring peace, accommodating matters, and persuading persons at
variance to a reconciliation.
Relationships can fill our lives with joy and delight. But
they can also tear us apart with heartache. Good relationships take hard work,
especially when you have to mend broken bonds with the people you love most.
Because all of us are imperfect, misunderstandings and
differences are inevitable. Often, however, a successful relationship depends
less on compatibility than on HOW YOU DEAL WITH INCOMPATIBILITY..
In Colossians
3:14 - the bible says “binds everything together in perfect harmony".
Therefore, one of the most essential skills in relationship is the ability to resolve disagreements in a loving way. What we say,how we say and how we listen to others is important to God. He warns us that "death and life are in the power of the tongue" and that we must give account of "every idle word" we speak (Proverbs 18:21; Matthew 12:36).

He warns us that "death and life are in the power of the tongue" and that we must give account of "every idle word" we speak (Proverbs 18:21; Matthew 12:36).
Thankfully the Bible records a number of things that can
help us understand others and be understood—which is the essence of respectful
communication in relationship.
God has revealed many important principles in the Bible on
how to speak to each other respectfully in relationships. By following these
keys, you can strengthen your relationships and learn to think and act more
like your loving Creator.
James
1:19 - "So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow
to speak, slow to wrath."
Many
of the communication problems that wreck relationships come from violating
these three keys. We tend to be slow to listen but quick to speak our minds and
in the resulting confusion and selfishness we are very quick to get our
feelings hurt and to get angry.
It's
natural to think we know what other people want or need before they finish
asking. And we generally assume that what we have to say is what the other person
should really be interested in hearing. Listening skills are rarely taught and
generally neglected.
Proverbs
18:2 - A fool has no delight in understanding, but in expressing his own heart.
We all
want to, and are taught to, express ourselves. But when our desire for
self-expression keeps us from trying to really understand the other person, we
are being foolish and selfish. This is the opposite of the attitude the apostle
Paul encouraged: "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit,
but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each
of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of
others" (Philippians 2:3-4).
Proverbs
10:19 clarifies that it is a "multitude of words" that generally causes
the problem. You should avoid being overly talkative and garrulous.
Also we must be very careful to think before we speak and to choose our words
carefully. Whatever we say should be edifying and intended to reflect the
nature of Christ and to glorify God.
Colossians
4:6 - "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you
may know how you ought to answer each one".
Proverbs 15:1-2
A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.

The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness.
I pray God gives us the patience needed to be able to
communicate effectively with one another and avoid damaging souls. It is well!!

Prayer for anxiety.....
Lord, I confess that there are things that make me feel anxious in my soul. I lift them up to You and ask that You would take those anxieties away and give me Your peace. Comfort my soul as only You can do. Help me to understand my life and my circumstances from Your perspective so that i won't be tempted to dwell on them with a heavy heart. Thank You for the comfort of Your unfailing love.
It Is Well With My Soul......
At a time when I almost gave up being happy and hating myself for who I am (Imagine!), I read a story and it encouraged me, so thought to share.
A King had a male servant who, in all circumstances always said to him; My king, do not be discouraged because everything God does is perfect, no mistakes. One day, they went hunting and a wild animal attacked the king, the servant managed to kill the animal but couldn't prevent his majesty from losing a finger. Furious and without showing gratitude, the King said; if God was good, I would not have been attacked and lost one finger. The servant replied, 'despite all these things, I can only tell you that God is good and everything He does is perfect, He is never wrong'. Outraged by the response, the king ordered the arrest of his servant. While being taken to prison, he told the king again, God is Good & Perfect. Another day, the king left alone for another hunt and was captured by savages who use human beings for sacrifice. On the altar, the savages found out that the king didn't have one finger in place, he was released because he was considered not "complete" to be offered to the gods. On his return to the palace, he ordered the release of his servant and said; My friend, God was really good to me. I was almost killed but for lack of a single finger, I was let go. But I have a question; If God is so good, why did He allow me to put you in prison? His servant replied; My king, if I had not been put in prison, I would have gone with you, and would have been sacrificed, because I have no missing finger. Everything God does is perfect, He is never wrong. Often we complain about life, and the negative things that happen to us, forgetting that everything happens for a purpose. God is good and perfect!!The song "It Is Well With My Soul" was written by a successful Christian lawyer Heratio Spafford, his only son died at age 4 in 1871,in 1872, the great Chicago fire wiped out his vast estate made from a successful legal career, in 1873 he sent his wife & 4 daughters over to Europe on a summer trip on the ill fated ville du Havre. Since he had a lot of work to do, he planned to follow them later. The Ship sank & he lost his 4 daughters with the wife being the only survivor, she sent him a famous telegram which simply read,SAVED ALONE.... On His return home, his Law firm was burned down and the insurance refused to pay, they said "It's An Act Of God". He had no money to pay for his house and no work, he also lost his house. Then while sitting and thinking what's happening to him, being a spiritual person, he wrote a song - whatever my Lord, you have taught me to say - It is well, it is well with my soul. My dear friend, a good attitude will determine your altitude. When you look at your life, career, job or family life, what do you say? Do you praise God? Do you blame the devil? A good attitude towards God makes Him move on your behalf. Just sit down and say, Today God, it is well with my soul, I am thankful I had a peaceful sleep, I am thankful I am alive with possibilities, I am thankful I have a roof over me, I am thankful I have a job and a successful business, I am thankful that I have Family and Friends. Above all, I am thankful that I have the Lord on my side. Be blessed and don't be envious or shocked when others are prospering because you don't know what they have been through to get there (test, trials and tribulation) so thank God for what you have. "Little is much when God is in it. It Is Well With My Soul! Have a blessed day and take control of your emotions..Trust God always with a genuine smile from within.

Thank You Father for everything....
Wow! What a year. I count it all joy, even though there were moments the devil tried to make me believe my God had forsaken me. I thank God for renewed strength and mind for I came out victorious. I am loved! You are loved! We are all loved by Him, for He is a good good Father. His word says that what He has for us is "exceedingly abundantly" above all that we can think or ask. Now that is just amazing because we know we can think of and ask for a GREAT deal, but He promises us more than that, meaning He will wow us. With great anticipation, i look forward to what He has ahead for me in my future and i urge you to do the same. May He help us not to get in the way of anything He has planned to do in and through us. Happy holidays xxxx
